Frequently Asked Questions
Who are these lessons for?
Anyone who wants to speak real-life Turkish, especially the Cypriot dialect — whether you're a traveler, expat, or language lover. No need to be fluent. Just bring curiosity and motivation!
Do I need to know any Turkish before starting?
No! Beginners are welcome. We start with everyday phrases and build your confidence through conversation — not grammar drills.
Are lessons grammar-focused?
Not at all. Speak Harmony is all about practical, spoken Turkish. You’ll learn how locals talk, not textbook rules.
What do I need for the class?
A stable internet connection, Zoom (or Google Meet), and a quiet space to talk. That’s it! Optional: a notebook or Google Doc for words we cover.
How do I book and pay?
You can book directly through the website. Payments are made securely via Stripe.
Can I reschedule or cancel a session?
Yes — just let me know at least 24 hours in advance, and we can reschedule your session. Missed sessions without notice cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
Do you offer refunds?
I don’t offer refunds for completed or missed sessions, but I always try to be flexible with rescheduling when notified in time. The free trial lets you decide before committing.
Are the lessons in standard Turkish or Cypriot dialect?
We focus on Cypriot Turkish, but I explain differences from standard Turkish when needed — so you understand both.
How long are the sessions?
Each session is 45 minutes, with time for review, practice, and relaxed conversation.
Is there a free trial available?
Yes! You can book a 20-minute free trial session to see if Speak Harmony is right for you.
